Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN GUYS

I'm being boring and I'm doing absolutely nothing for Halloween for many reason, they are as followed:

1. I literally have nothing to do on Halloween, there's no parties or events happening and I don't want to dress up for nothing.
2. I have absolutely nothing to wear, I don't usually do Halloween, I literally just have some witches hat and some jewellery from last year when I had to dress up at work, but apart from that.. Zilch!
3. I'm not feeling particularly brilliant and I'm absolutely shattered and I just want to sleep and watch tv!
4. I hate children, actually that's a complete lie, I love kids, but I do like food, and Halloween consists a lot of giving away food! And it makes me sad! Hahaha

So that is the reason I'm not doing any special Halloween blogpost although I kinda wish I was! However, let me know what you guys are doing for Halloween, and show me your outfits cause I would love to see it!!

Sorry for such a boring post, but I just thought I'd update you on Halloween, or Thursday 31st October as I see it today!

Hope you all have fun tonight, and drink responsibly and try not to eat too many sweets!

Show me your outfits below!

BYE GUYS !

Haul

Hey guys!
So guess what? I've been shopping! Yay! I went to Bristol's Cabot Circus with mother and did a bit of damage! However, I feel I need to go back as because it's half term it was absolutely heaving! And I am a very moody person whilst shopping and I have no time for people who just stop in the middle of the shop for no reason or people who walk slowly, otherwise, I would have spent so much more! So guys, I'm going to show you what I bought! I have made a video, but I don't want to put it on YouTube because I'm scared! Anyway, if you want me to start a YouTube thing, I will but I need you to tell me! Let me know below!
So, here's what I bought today!

Primark
If you guys live in Bristol, you will know you have to get to Primark early or you will be in with "the rush"! Today, as I had an appointment, it was so busy! I wanted to scream! So, I didn't stay in there long otherwise I may have murdered someone or at least shouted at someone! So, I didn't buy much, the top I'm wearing at the top is from the men's section in Primark, I love the men's section for buying jumpers as they are always big and baggy and warm. Lovely! So I bought the top one which is a sort of grandad jumper, with a lovely sort of woollen Aztec pattern in a way! I love it, it's so thick so it's perfect for the British winters and just goes well with leggins and big socks! It's so cosy and will be perfect for my sixth form because it's so cold all the time! Mmm warmth! It cost me £15 which I thought was good for a big jumper!
Secondly, I bought a 3-quarter-length top which was £8.00! It is just kind of floaty and will be nice with jeans or leggings to be honest! I will obviously layer it up as it is rather thin! The print on it is the Beatles, which is amazing because I'm fully inlove with the Beatles! They are amazing! So when I saw that top, I had to get it!
The third thing on the picture reel shall we say, is a DC Comics jumper! Which I was actually so surprised to find in the women's section! The jumper is just kind of grey and has DC superheroes on the front. Which is amazing as I love all things superhero and comic booky! The sleeves are cuffed and it's long sleeved. It looks really nice and warm and it's so darn cool so I can't wait to wear it.
Lastly I bought another jumper/sweattop from the men's section! It's very simple, plain charcoal grey colour and is long sleeved. The inside of it is really cute and fluffy and I think it will keep me so warm! I love to be cosy and I love baggy stuff so this is perfect and amazing and gah!
I'm so happy with what i bought in primark although I didn't get to stay in as long as possible:( ah well, I'll be back soon, perhaps! Yay!

Urban Outfitters

This is all I bought from urban outfitters, as I don't know if you are aware, but it's quite expensive! However, I found this gem and I'm absolutely inlove with it! It's a pack of eight posters of different superheroes from DC Comics! The pictures are of the comic book cover for each superhero and it looks so vintage and I don't think I could have put it down! I wanna give some to Tim so he can have some too, as he's just as obsessed as me (we are so sad). So, I just had to share that too!

Make up time!
I went to two shops, m&s (Marks and Spencer's if you didn't know) and SuperDrug. Now, I was fully unaware that m&s did their own make-up range, but they do, and I'm inlove with it. Both shops have a 3 for 2 offer on the make up so I got very excited. So let me show you...
So from m&s I bought these brushes. The range their from is called 'autograph' which is really good. The brushes I bought were a bronzing, powder and eyeshadow brush. Because they were 3 for 2, I only payed for 2 but I don't know how much they were, wooops! But they are so soft and lovely, I highly recommend them.
So, also from the m&s Autograph range, I bought 2 eyeshadows and a blush. The two eyeshadows are both in autumnal browny-gold colours. I got one palette of 2, which was called 'brown'. (Bit boring, I know, but it's only m&s!). It consist of a sort of pale, nude colour and a darkish brown. I think the two will blend really well and I am very excited to use it! I will show you what I do with it soon, but not yet! The other eyeshadow palette was called 'Gold' (yawn), and consists of browns and golds and it's absolutely lovely. The gold is shimmery and i think it would be perfect for a party, especially as it's coming up to party season! But, you could torn it down and use it as everyday eyeshadow with the browns.
The blusher was a gorgeous apricot colour and I absolutely love it! I haven't tried it yet but it's very "English-rose" and cute for winter.

SuperDrug
So from SuperDrug I bought, NYC blusher which is a lovely dark pinky/nude colour, it's very hard to explain! And the lighting doesn't show it very well! Sorry! I also got a bronzer from that NYC range and it's a mosaic bronzer so it has so many shades and colours which means it's not too dark or too light which is absolutely gorgeous for a natural glow!
Finally, I bought a blusher from a brand I didn't even know existed called Cheeky B! It's a lovely pink colour and it's very pigmented, almost like MAC but not quite as good, but decent for a cheap version if you can't quite afford MAC stuff, as they do tend to be expensive does MAC. But yeah, if you like the MAC range but find it out of your price range, find a brand called Cheeky B as it's almost just as good! Will be perfect to use as you gain the money for MAC.
I was going to buy from MAC today but they got very busy and I really couldn't be bothered as it's getting to the end of the day and I was getting tired and bored! Yes, I know! I was bored of shopping! But hopefully I'll get a good look in next time!

Okay, so I that finishes my haul for today, I hope you enjoy it, and let me know in the comments!

See you again soon!

Shoe Review Time!

Hiya guys, now yesterday I was rambling on about this party on Friday and how much I fell in love with them! I didn't buy them *cries* but I found some other shoes! (The ones pictured, obviously!)
Apparently, I don't look right in shoes that have cut-outs at the sides, rather annoyingly, and I seem to be drawn to chunky shoes rather than dainty shoes. I'm very lucky I actually went to my new look and bought them rather than buy online because I've only got till Friday, too much stress me thinks. Anyway, I love these boots so much I think they are perfect for the outfit because I'm kind of going for a red/black punk/elegant look if that makes sense. These shoes work so well and were cheaper than the ones before as they were only £24.99! The heel also isn't too high and is nice and chunky so I don't have to worry about breaking my ankle and falling over! They are pretty easy to walk in and they are surprisingly comfortable! I'm actually in love with them, they are my babies! (Don't laugh, I'm genuinely that sad). And considering I'm going to a party, I'm going to be dancing all night, so the comfier the better I think! They are perfect for these winter months and you could wear them with basically everything. They had some tan sort of colour there too, but I don't think that would have worked with the outfit but they'd be lovely this autumn! Well, let me know if you like them!
See you lovelies! x

These Darn Shoes

Shoes.

Now, i'll be honest, I rarely by heels, but apparently my feet have grown in the last year so I need some new ones, meaning i'm going to have to shop *sarcastically slaps leg* darn.
I have a friends party on Saturday (everyone is turning 18 except me) and I bought a beautiful red dress. I tried to find a picture of it on the website, but I cant find it anymore, so i'll have to take a photo and show you!
Basically, its a skater dress, but the skirt half of it isn't so refined and drapes a little looser. Its block red but also has red lace over the top, and the sleeves are red lace also, and the come to your elbows (which is great for me as my arms are rather large) which is great. So, as I got rid of some shoes I was going to wear with it yesterday, I need some more, so I want these shoes pictured. I think they'll look really nice with my dress and thick leggings, because I hate being cold. Its also a masquerade party, so I have a black mask from Accessorize which is gorgeous. I will get a picture up on Friday of the full outfit. But i'm very excited to by these shoes as the heels are nice and thick so it will be easier to walk, and they come quite high on the ankles so there is no awkward bit of foot showing which irritates me like crazy.
My dress cost £19.99, and like I said is from New Look.
The shoes are also from New Look and is £27.99.

The mask was from Accessorize (mummy bought it) and was £3.50.

Like I said, i'll show you the completed outfit on Friday, if all goes to plan, or I might do it before if I haven't got much to do. Gheez, i'm so excited for it, I love to dress up and do my makeup all lovely!

I'll show you all the products used on Friday soon!

The Fashionable Saint

Iyaaaaa blogging world!
Just a little introduction really, not too long, not to short. So here we go!
  • My name is Jenny.
  • I am 17, and have wanted to do a blog for years!
  • My blog will cover a lot! Like, fashion, makeup, hair, and just advice really.
  • I'm overly chatty and pretty creative which is why my mum told me I should start a blog and share my thoughts and feelings with the world, which I think is a brilliant idea and will keep me occupied. Obviously, alongside homework!
  • I'm from Bristol, in some small town called Chipping Sodbury. NOTHING HAPPENS HERE. So I need someone/something to occupy me.
  • I'll keep you up to date with the Bristol fashion, as I feel that you should be aware of it.
Hope you enjoy this, I love you x
